Dental implants have become a popular teeth restoration method as they provide more support than dentures and give a natural feel and look. Dental implants are almost for everyone who has lost their teeth. The first step is to have the consultation with the dental surgeon or implantologist. They will asses your teeth, bones and sinuses in order to know if you’re suitable for the treatment and if so, how much incision is necessary. The surgery is performed under local anaesthesia. Dentist drills a hole into the bone and places the implant and closes the gum with stitches. They may take an x ray of your teeth post surgery to check if all went well. During the next few months the bone slowly grows around the implant, making the implant strongly embedded into the jawbone. After a few months when the bone gets attached, the dentist will perform the second phase, which is exposing of the implants. At this time the protective screw installed during the first surgery gets replaced with an abutment. Then, after healing for a few weeks it's the time for the final installation of the bridge or acrylic fixture. Dental implants have been in use for many years and there is enough academic research that suggests that it is a long time solution to missing teeth problems.
Some surgeries offer full mouth teeth restorations that can be completed in one day. While there are benefits of such systems, there are also some drawbacks. The most obvious advantage is the speed of the reconstruction. The patient may leave a surgery with the new set of teeth on the same day, which no doubt is very impressive. The other advantage is that implants used may eliminate the need of the bone graft or the sinus lift. However, the main drawback is the long time prognosis of such reconstruction. While clinicians may argue about it, this technique is relatively new and the durability of this type of reconstruction is still a question. The other major drawback is that failure of just one implant will require a replacement of the entire prosthetic work. Some surgeons also argue that the infection of the surrounding tissue of the implant may be a problem in the long term. The suitability for the One Day implant reconstruction is also an issue. While this is marketed to all patients with severe missing teeth problems, the true is that a significant bone volume is a pre-requisite for use of long implants used for this type of reconstruction. It means that many people would not be suitable for One Day implant restorations.
The Dentists in Poland clinic offer a number of treatments for patients who have lost all their teeth. “All teeth on four dental implants” are amongst the most popular restorations. Permanent prosthetic fixtures can usually be fitted on a minimum of four implants.

1st visit (3 days) - Implants consultation, diagnosis, surgery and implant placement
During this initial visit, the patient undergoes an extensive consultation. A CT scan is taken as this is required for a thorough diagnosis. Implant surgery usually takes place on the 2nd day of your stay. In some cases patients might need bone graft or sinus lift before implants are inserted. Often, these procedures can be completed during the same visit.
As the dental implants have healed the abutments can be revealed on the second visit. Often the impressions for the bridge are taken. All this can be completed on 1 to 3 day long visit
Final implant supported dental restorations such as bridges or dentures are fitted and adjusted
